my time in korea was mostly uneventful, so these entries probably aren’t going to be very long.

day 201 – i stayed at home and relaxed

day 202 – today i went to coex with christina. we had a fantastic lunch at a big mexican restaurant in coex. as well as steak and burritos, we had a couple of margaritas, which was fun. after lunch, and feeling very full, we went to see the movie ‘my sister’s keeper’.

in the evening we went to the intercontinental hotel to meet up with a friend. the hotel has wine/beer and a buffet every night. we drank wine, talked, and helped ourselves at the snack buffet.

day 203 – i just relaxed at home

day 204 – today i went to sky park. we walked around sky park and along the lake near the world cup stadium. i took a lot of photos and enjoyed the warm weather. we walked around and department store then had pizza for dinner.

day 205 – i just relaxed all day

day 206 – i spent the morning at home then headed to itaewon in the evening for some beer with tom and aaron. the three of us had a good time chatting about photography and the photo club. aaron had bought himself a pentax medium format camera, and we had fun playing with that. tom left early, so aaron and i had a few more beers. we talked for a while and i ended up getting home late.

day 207 – i relaxed all day today. i went to the pc cafe and played warrock.

day 208 – i relaxed all day today. i went to the pc cafe (again) and played computer games.

day 209 – i stayed at home in the morning and in the afternoon i visited my former company kepco. i spent an hour talking with my old co-workers. they were quite busy and didn’t have much time so we arranged to meet again on monday for lunch.

day 210 – today was seoul photoclub’s debut photograph exhibition. i took christina and met up with aaron and tom in hongdae. the gallery was really good and they’d done a great job organising it. we drank beer and i met the new photographers. apparently i was still known in the group but i was keen to make sure aaron got all the kudos and credit for the club’s work … he definitely deserved it.

we had a late dinner together at the world’s slowest restaurant, and we consumed much beer and soju. i went home late, again, and slept.
